Or as they call it in Japan: "Ōjo Jeshī Rokkuhāto Mahō no Bondēji Otome" ;D
Which simply translates as: "Princess Jessie Lockhart: Magical Bondage Damsel". ;P

This amazing piece of artwork was drawn up by the wonderfully talented and adorable Noah Page, who is also known as DA's own :iconheartgear:.
I commissioned Noah to draw up Jessie all tied up in an homage to her vision of "Princess" Samus Aran from her own webcomic "Systems of Entertainment": heartgear.deviantart.com/galle…
It's currently a tale about the characters we play as from several popular Nintendo franchises. In this case, Super Mario Bros. and Metroid. In the story, Samus Aran (from the Metroid franchise) gets a transported by one of Bowser's Magikoopas from her own game to Bowser's Castle in the Super Mario Bros. game. When she appears she finds herself no longer in her Zero Suit, but a Zero Suit styled version of Princess Peach's dress and is immediately ambushed by a horde of koopa troopas who proceed to tie up and gag Samus to play the role of the damsel; a role normally filled by Peach who is no where to be found it would seem. A series of events follows that teaches Samus (as well as us, the readers) about the rules of the SMB system along with the snide and sarcastic commentary of a specific koopa troopa charged with making sure Samus doesn't escape. It's not long before Samus's bonds get tighter and more restrictive and her odds of escaping get slimmer and slimmer. Some other bizarre activity transpires, but the first chapter ends before we can find out what is causing it. Currently we are waiting for Noah to begin working on it again after a year's hiatus from it to focus on more important things; like self-discovery and marriage. :D

I'm such a fan of the comic that I wanted to place Jessie in the role of Samus for a commission once Noah's commission schedule opened up. The result is this lovely work of DiD fantasy and clever artistic direction. I wanted to pluck a panel right from the comic and put Jessie into it in Samus's "Zero Dress" and all tied up and gagged, but with a bit more of Jessie's own personal touch: a few more ropes, a stricter arm tie and a stricter and more sinister-looking gag; a harness muzzle gag to be specific. This also included the same cage Samus was placed (while tied up) and the snarky koopa charged with guarding her. What I didn't expect was the addition of the Super Nintendo box art graphic around the edges, a title, and synopsis; giving it the appearance of video game box art for a video game featuring Jessie himself. :D
It was a brilliant addition by Noah to make it look like and official SNES game.

As for a story for this image, Jessie stumbled upon a code (not THE code ;P) that sucked him into the game and placed him in the role of our heroine, Samus, meaning he woke to find himself in the very same dress she wore as well as that he was bound and gagged. It would seem that Samus found a way to escape her predicament as well as find some poor sap to take her place. Does this mean that Samus is now running around in the real world, pretending to be Jessie? She'll have a hard time of it given she is an actual woman and a guy who dresses and acts like one. ;P
If you notice the symbol on Jessie's gag, it was my idea to add that as a sort of calling card from Samus to Jessie as a way of claiming credit for putting Jessie in his sudden captivity. It is in fact Samus's logo placed on the gag. Noah also came up with the idea that it also serves as a "recognition tracker" that helps the game to recognize that Jessie is Samus and that so long as he wears the gag, the system will assume he is Samus. Sort of like the icon badges from Reboot. It's the old switcheroo with Samus performing the digital Houdini act and Jessie as the "assistant" who ends up in her place to keep the illusion.
So, how is Jessie to get out of this mess? He's a pretty good player, but he usually isn't tied up while playing the...nevermind. XD
It would seem his only hope of escape is for Samus to return to and be the damsel in distress again or find another way back into the system. Jessie hopes that Samus will somehow find her way back and come to his rescue. That being said, he also hopes she takes her time. ;)

A SUPER thanks to Noah for taking my commission and for drawing up such an excellent piece of DiD/VG art with Jessie as the subject.:heart:
